Ordering & delivery
Is thirty minutes real?
Twenty-eight is our average, door to door, measured across the last year rather than on a good night. Friday between seven and nine it runs closer to forty, and the tracker will tell you that rather than pretending otherwise.
Do you deliver to me?
We cover eight zones across Accra — East Legon, Airport Residential, Cantonments, Osu, Labone, Dzorwulu, Achimota and Spintex. If you are just outside one, call us; sometimes we can and sometimes we honestly cannot.
Is there a minimum order?
Between ₵80 and ₵120 depending on the zone, and delivery is free over ₵200. Below that it is ₵25 flat wherever you are.
What if it arrives late or cold?
More than twenty minutes past the quote and the delivery fee is on us. If a dish arrives cold, call the restaurant rather than the courier and we will refund it, first time, no argument.
Does the sushi travel?
Less well than everything else, and we will say so if you order it after ten. It is at its best at the counter. The noodles and the bowls travel beautifully, which is what the whole board was designed around.
How can I pay?
Card, mobile money or cash, at the table and at the door. Prices include VAT, NHIL and GETFund, so what you see is what you pay.
The room
Do I need to book?
At lunch, rarely. On a Friday or Saturday evening, yes — those go about ten days ahead. Call the restaurant or send a WhatsApp; there is no online booking system and we would rather talk to you.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free up to two hours before your sitting, and no card or deposit for tables of seven or fewer. Parties of eight or more pay ₵100 a head against the set menu.
What if we are running late?
Call us. We hold a table twenty minutes as standard and longer if we know you are coming. The room only really needs it back on a busy evening.
Can you do a big group?
The back six seats as one table, and beyond that we can take up to eighteen with notice. Groups of eight or more go on one of the two set menus so the kitchen can pace it.
The food
How do you handle allergies?
Tell a person rather than typing it into the notes field — call us or say it when you book. The kitchen works from tickets and a serious allergy deserves a conversation, not a line of text.
Is there much for vegans?
A whole set menu, plus the garden roll, mushroom bao, cucumber salad, wok-charred greens and a tofu laksa. All of it is cooked in a separate wok rather than adapted from something else.
Is the meat halal?
All of it, certified, with the paperwork on the wall by the pass. Ask to see it if you would like to.
How hot is hot?
The chilli oil wontons are genuinely hot and the chilli garlic ramen is warm rather than fierce. Ask for it milder and we will make it milder — nobody at the pass takes it personally.
