About Crunch

A different kind of chip

Crunch is a small bakery in Adabraka that happens to make chips. Sliced in the morning, baked before lunch, gone by the weekend.

Crunch started in 2019 on one table at Makola market. A borrowed oven, a knife sharpened twice a day, and fifty bags of sea salt chips that sold out before the heat came in. The next Saturday we baked a hundred. Same story.

Everything still happens in one kitchen in Adabraka. We slice by hand, bake in small trays and season while the chips are warm. No fryer, no flavour lab, no compromise. If a batch does not crack loud enough, it stays home.

What goes in

Built around better choices

Potatoes, cassava, groundnut oil and seasoning we grind ourselves. Nothing in the bag you could not point to at Makola.

The crew

The people behind the bag

Twelve people bake, season, pack and deliver everything we sell. Every bag passes through four pairs of hands before it leaves Adabraka.
