Is it over-18?
The main site is 16+ with ID, and under-16s are welcome until 9:00 PM with a paying adult. The Basement is 18+ all night because of the volume rather than the bar.
Can I leave and come back?
General admission gets one re-entry before 9:00 PM. Stage side is unlimited all night. Both need the wristband intact — a cut band is a new ticket, and we cannot make an exception at the gate.
How do I pay?
Mobile Money on all networks, or card. The ticket arrives as a QR code by SMS and email within a minute; it works from a locked screen and does not need printing or data at the gate.
What happens if it rains?
It goes ahead. Three of the four stages are covered and the square drains well, but December in Accra is dry and we have lost exactly one set to weather since 2011.
How do I get there and home?
Black Star Square is walkable from Osu and a short trotro from Circle. Shuttles run from the Castle Road gate to Circle and Osu from 1:00 AM until the site closes, and they are free with any ticket.
Is the site accessible?
Step-free throughout, with a raised viewing platform at the main stage and accessible toilets beside it. A companion comes free — email the box office and we will sort the pair of tickets out by hand.
What can I bring?
A sealed water bottle, a small bag and a phone battery. No glass, no professional cameras without a pass, no chairs. There is free drinking water at every stage and you will need it.
Can I get a refund or pass my ticket on?
Refunds up to fourteen days before the night, in full. After that you can transfer a ticket to someone else once, free, through the box office — we would rather it was used than wasted.
