Things people
ask us
If the answer you want is not here, the box office picks up between nine and six, Monday to Saturday.
Ask the box officeWhat time do the gates open?
Noon on all three days. The Drum Circle starts at twelve, the Palmwine stage at two and the Main Stage at five. Come early — the queue after six is the longest part of anyone's day.
Can I bring children?
Under-12s come in free with a paying adult, up to three per adult, and there is a shaded family area beside the Drum Circle. The Late Room is 18+ and checked on the door.
How do I pay for a ticket?
Mobile money on MTN, Telecel and AirtelTigo, or any Visa or Mastercard. Prices are in cedis and there is no booking fee on top of what you see.
What if I can't come after all?
Full refund up to fourteen days before the first day, no questions. After that you can transfer the pass to somebody else free of charge from your confirmation email.
Is there food on site?
Twenty-two kitchens across the ground, all of them Accra businesses, and every one has something under twenty cedis. Water is free from the standpipes at each stage.
How do I get there and home again?
Trotro and taxi drop-off is on the Independence Avenue side. Shuttles run to Osu, Circle, Madina and Kasoa every twenty minutes from eleven at night until an hour after the last set.
Early-bird passes
close on 30 September
Weekend passes go up by eighty cedis at the end of September and the Late Room sells out every year before the lineup is even announced.
