Forty acts · four stages

Who is playing

Half of this bill has never played a festival before. That is not an accident and it is not a compromise — it is the whole reason the bill is worth reading.

Friday

Highlife

Adjoa Kaya

Thirty years of guitar-band highlife and the only person alive who still plays the Ramblers arrangements the way they were written. Closing the first night with a fourteen-piece band.

Saturday

Afro-soul

Serwaa Blue

Two albums, no label, and a Saturday-night crowd that already knows every word. Her band has not played Accra since the Ho show sold out in forty minutes last April.

Sunday

Afrobeats

Yaw Prempeh

Closing the tenth edition, back where he played his first festival slot in 2018 to about ninety people and a rainstorm. Bringing the horn section this time.
