Take a table

Tuesday to Sunday from five. Two to eight goes through the book; nine and over is one phone call and a set menu.

Booking

Two ways, both of them quick

Tables of two to eight go through the book. Nine and over, or the back room on its own, is a conversation — and a short one.

Two to eight

Pick a night and a time and the table is held for fifteen minutes past it. Tuesday to Sunday, sittings from five until half past nine.

Nine and over

Call the house between two and five and you will get somebody who can actually say yes. Large tables eat from a set menu so the kitchen can send it out together.

Before you come

Four things worth knowing

We hold for fifteen

After that the table goes to the bar queue. Traffic on the Spintex is not a moral failing — call and we will move you.

Children are welcome

Until nine, when the music goes up. There are three high chairs and a plate of plantain that is not on the menu.

Tell us about allergies

Groundnut, palm and shellfish are in most of the board. Say so when you book and it is dealt with before you sit down.

Parking is tight

Six spaces behind the building and the road on a Saturday. A car is easier after eight.
