Our story
From one kiosk to sixty thousand cans
Fizz was never planned, it kept selling out. The kiosk emptied, so there were fridges. The bottles broke, so there were cans. Five dates tell it straight.
2018
The kiosk in Jamestown
Two friends, a corner kiosk on the Jamestown high street and a cola brewed from ground kola nut. The first Saturday sold out by noon, and the recipe from that kiosk is still the recipe in the can.
2020
The first ten fridges
Ten fridges lent to corner shops from Osu to Kaneshie, restocked twice a week from the back of a borrowed van. Pineapple joined the cola that year and outsold it by the second month.
2022
The move to cans
Bottles kept breaking in delivery bags, so the drinks moved into 330 ml cans filled on a rented line. The Orange was rebuilt for the can first: real pressed fruit, 12 g of cane sugar and a harder fizz.
2023
The canning line in Tema
Plot 6 Harbour Road, a used canning line and a month of teaching it manners. The first new flavour off it was the Grape, and for the first time the fridges stayed full through a whole week.
2026
Sixty thousand cans a week
The Bitter Lemon made it six flavours, and the Tema line now fills sixty thousand cans a week. The kiosk in Jamestown still opens on Saturdays, and it still sells out.
