The season
Six months of the diary, public nights and private ones alike, so you can see what we actually spend a year doing.
December to May
The nights already in the diary
Two of these you can buy a ticket for. The rest are somebody's wedding, gala or durbar, and they are here so you can see what a season actually looks like.

Undisclosed, Accra
Ninety minutes, a five-piece, and a room with a glass ceiling that took two site visits to work out.
30

Harmattan Sessions, Kumasi
Golden Bean, Kumasi
The first time we have taken our own night out of Accra. Same band, smaller room, later finish.
16
Years
On Ghana's stages since 2009
Live music
The house band, a trio or a soloist. Every set rehearsed for your room rather than pulled off a shelf.
Sound & stage
Our own PA, monitors, desk and staging. No hired rig, no engineer meeting the room for the first time at six o'clock.
Lighting
Warm, low and designed for the room the guests are standing in rather than for the photographs afterwards.
DJ & MC
The person who holds a night together and the one who knows how to end it. Both of them ours, both of them briefed.
What is left
Where the diary is honest
November – February
Ghana's wedding season, and the four months that fill first. Saturdays are usually gone six months out; Fridays and Sundays are not.
March – July
Corporate season. Weekday evenings are wide open and the rates are lower, which is worth knowing if your date is movable.
August – October
Festivals and homecoming. We hold two Saturdays a month back for family bookings, because that is what the diary is for.
Tell us about the night
The date, the room and roughly how many people. We will come back with what we would put in it and what it costs — in cedis, on one page.
