FAQ

Everything people

ask before they write.

Eight questions, answered properly. If yours is not here, it is a short email and a quick reply.

For listeners

About the music

Where to find it, when the next one lands, and what you may do with it.

When is the next record out?

Harmattan Skin is out now on every service. The next body of work is being written on the road through 2026 — the mailing list hears first, always.

Can I use your music in a film or an advert?

Sync requests go to press@wren.music with the brief, the territory and the term. The masters are owned outright, so licensing is usually a short conversation rather than a long one.

Where do I buy tickets?

Every date on the tour page links to the venue's own box office. Nothing is sold through this site, so if a link asks you to pay somewhere else, it is not us.

For bookers

About hiring the band

The five things every promoter asks in the first email, answered before you have to.

How do I book you for a show?

Send the date, the city, the venue and the budget to booking@wren.music and you will hear back within two working days. For anything inside Greater Accra a phone call is usually faster.

Do you always travel with the full band?

No. There are three formats — solo with a guitarist, a four-piece, and the full seven-piece with horns — and the right one depends on the room and the budget. Say which you had in mind, or describe the room and let us suggest.

What do you need from the venue?

A stage of at least four metres by three, monitor wedges for each performer, a sound check window of ninety minutes, and somewhere private to change. The full technical rider goes out with the contract.

Do you play outside Ghana?

Yes — Lagos, Abidjan, Dakar and London are all regular stops, and the band travels with its own front-of-house engineer. Flights, visas and freight go into the quote rather than arriving later.

Will you play weddings and private parties?

For a small number each year. The set is built around the couple or the occasion rather than lifted from the tour set, so these are quoted after a conversation rather than off a price list.
