Three shapes, one set of songs
A promoter's first question is never whether the band is good, it is how many of us there are and what the stage has to hold. Here is the honest answer.
Two players
Voice and guitar
The songs stripped to what they were written as. Right for a room of eighty, a listening bar, or a late set after somebody louder.
Two vocal mics, one DI, ninety minutes of set-up.
Four players
The four-piece
Keys, bass, drums and voice. The working format — it fits most stages, most budgets and every set list.
Four channels of monitoring, a stage of 4m × 3m, two hours.
Seven players
The full band
With the horns, the second vocalist and the arrangements the records were actually made with. Festival and theatre format.
Full backline, sixteen channels, a sound check of ninety minutes.

Bookers ask
Before you send the date
How do I book you for a show?
Send the date, the city, the venue and the budget to booking@wren.music and you will hear back within two working days. For anything inside Greater Accra a phone call is usually faster.
What do you need from the venue?
A stage of at least four metres by three, monitor wedges for each performer, a sound check window of ninety minutes, and somewhere private to change. The full technical rider goes out with the contract.
Do you play outside Ghana?
Yes — Lagos, Abidjan, Dakar and London are all regular stops, and the band travels with its own front-of-house engineer. Flights, visas and freight go into the quote rather than arriving later.
Where do I buy tickets?
Every date on the tour page links to the venue's own box office. Nothing is sold through this site, so if a link asks you to pay somewhere else, it is not us.
