On the day

Things worth

knowing first

Gates at noon, every day

Last entry 22:00. Re-entry is allowed on a wristband until 21:00 and not after that.

Shuttles from 23:00

Osu, Circle, Madina and Kasoa, every twenty minutes until an hour after the last set. Free on any pass.

Water is free

Standpipes at each stage and at both gates. Bring a bottle — there is a refill point beside every bar.

Step-free throughout

Hard standing to all four stages, a raised viewing platform at Main Stage, and a companion goes free.

Black Star Square

Twelve minutes

end to end

The four stages sit on one line from the Square down to the beach, so you never have to choose between two sets more than a walk apart. The Late Room is under the stand at the far end, which is why you cannot hear it from anywhere else.

The main stage lit in warm light with the crowd filling the field

Early-bird passes

close on 30 September

Weekend passes go up by eighty cedis at the end of September and the Late Room sells out every year before the lineup is even announced.
