Rates are what you take home before tronc, reviewed every January. Nobody here is on a zero-hours contract.

Chef de partie — grill

Full time · 45 hours

Five shifts, two of them lunch. You will run the coals with Yaw and take the section on his days off. Charcoal experience matters more than a qualification.

Full time · 40 hours

Four evenings and a Sunday lunch. Tronc runs at about ₵1,400 a month across the year, split evenly and paid with wages.

Part time · 24 hours

Thursday to Saturday behind eight stools. You will be making the eight drinks on the list and talking to people eating a metre away from you.

What we will actually give you

The rota, three weeks out

Published on the 25th for the month after. Swaps are between you; we only need telling.

You eat what the room eats

One course off the board every shift, sat down, not standing at the pass.

Tronc split evenly

Kitchen and floor on the same share. Paid with wages, and the sheet is on the wall.

Closed on Mondays

Every week, for everybody. Two consecutive days off a fortnight, and Christmas week.

No form, no portal, no covering letter. Say what you have cooked or served, where, and when you can start. Every email is answered within three days, including the ones that are a no.

If it looks like a fit you will be asked in for a paid trial shift — a real one, on a real service, with a real plate at the end of it.
