Before you write
Four lines are enough to get a useful answer
Tell us what happened, roughly when, who else is involved, and what you would like to happen next. That is enough for us to say whether there is a matter here and which of our advocates should take the call.
If a deadline is running — a court date, a notice period, a caveat about to expire — put it in the first line and ring the office as well.

Three things worth knowing first
When is the office open?
Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm. We are closed on public holidays. Urgent criminal matters reach a duty advocate outside those hours through the main number.
Can a first meeting be held online?
Yes, and often it is — particularly for clients outside Accra or abroad. We use whichever platform you already have, and the meeting is not recorded unless you ask for it.
Is what I send you confidential?
Everything you tell us in the course of seeking legal advice is privileged, whether or not you go on to instruct us. That applies from the first email, not from the moment a fee is paid.
