The people
Six of us, and the same six for the last four years. You will work with one of them and meet a second on the Thursday.
Six planners . One studio
The studio
Six people, and one of them is yours
A planner from the first hour to the last invoice, and a production director who arrives six weeks out. The other four you will hear about and mostly never meet.

Adjoa Mensimah
Founder & lead planner
Started the studio in 2014 after eleven years running conferences she found considerably less interesting. Plans six weddings a year herself and has never once been late.

Kwabena Asare
Production director
Runs the weekends. Power, water, access, permits, generators and the thing nobody thought of. If a truck is going to be late, Kwabena already knows.

Mansa Otoo
Design lead
Draws every room to scale before a stem is ordered and photographs the mock-up six weeks out. Trained in textiles, which is why the linen is never an afterthought.

Yaw Larbi
Suppliers & logistics
Holds the book of people we trust, and the reason it is short. Negotiates every contract and has talked more couples out of a supplier than into one.

Abena Frimpong
Guest experience
Invitations, seating, travel and the aunties. Has personally rung four hundred guests in a week and can tell you which of them will actually come.

Kofi Boakye-Yiadom
Traditional rites counsel
Sits with both families before anything is booked. Akan, Ga and Ewe rites, and the diplomacy that turns two very different lists into one weekend.

On the day
Who is doing what while you are dancing
Four of us are on site across the weekend. This is how the work divides, and why only one of them ever speaks to you.
Your planner
Everything you see, everything you sign, and the only number you ever ring. On the day she is with you from the first hair appointment to the send-off.
Production
Deliveries, power, access, permits and the venue's own staff. Arrives at six in the morning and leaves when the last truck does.
Design
Install and strike. Every table dressed to the drawing, checked against the mock-up photograph, and photographed again before the doors open.
Guest experience
The door, the seating, the elders, the aunties and the four people who came anyway. Nobody stands about not knowing where to go.
