One number, answered by somebody in the building
No switchboard menu and no queue system. Between 07:00 and 20:00 reception picks up; after that the line rings in A&E, where somebody is standing.
Emergency, 24 hours
Come straight to A&E at 14 Castle Road, or ring ahead so the department is expecting you.
Who to ask
Four addresses, four different jobs
Sending the right thing to the right place is the difference between an answer today and an answer next week.
Switchboard
030 268 4100
07:00–20:00 daily. Outside those hours this rings in A&E itself.

Medical locations
Getting here
Three ways to the Adabraka site
By car
Off the Ring Road Central interchange onto Castle Road; the entrance is on the left after Farrar Avenue. Sixty free spaces behind the building. The frontage is drop-off only.
By trotro
Any Adabraka or Kwame Nkrumah Circle vehicle. Get down at Farrar Avenue junction — the hospital is ninety seconds' walk east, and the A&E entrance is signed in red.
By ambulance
National Ambulance Service crews come to the A&E bay on Farrar Avenue directly. If you are bringing someone yourself, use the same bay rather than the main entrance.

Have questions? Get in touch
