Book a visit
Book a visit, and let somebody come and look
No referral, no diagnosis and no decision needed first. A nurse answers, a nurse visits, and you get the plan in writing before anything starts.
How it works
Three steps, and none of them cost anything
Most families ring us at the point where something has already gone wrong. You do not need a referral, a diagnosis or a decision made — you need somebody to come and look.
01
You call, or send a message
A nurse picks up, not a receptionist. They will ask who we are caring for, what has changed recently, and what the week currently looks like for whoever has been carrying it.
02
We come to the house
Within three working days, and at a time that suits the household rather than the clinic. The visit takes about an hour and there is no charge for it if a plan follows.
03
You get a plan with a figure on it
Written, itemised and sent within two days of the visit. Nothing begins until you have read it and said yes, and it can be stopped later with two weeks' notice.
Before the visit
Four things worth having ready
None of them are compulsory. All of them make the first hour more useful than it would otherwise be.
Every medicine in the house, including the ones nobody is sure about
The last discharge summary or clinic letter, if there is one
The NHIS card, and any private scheme details
Whoever in the family has been doing most of the arranging
Start with a phone call
The line is answered by a nurse between seven in the morning and seven at night, and by the ward at every other hour.
