Priced before anything is booked.

Three ways in, all quoted in cedis, all flat fees paid by you. We take nothing from a supplier, which is why we can tell you when one is not worth it.

The three

Choose how much of it is ours

The Day

₵28,000

from · one celebration

You plan it; we run it. We arrive eight weeks out, take the plan you have made, contract whatever is still open and hold the day itself from six in the morning until the hired chairs are counted back.

The Rites

₵46,000

from · knocking and engagement

The two family celebrations, planned and run end to end — the list written with your aunts and costed, the cloth, the canopy, the linguists, the drinks, the drummers and the order of the rite.

The Whole Weekend

₵92,000

from · every celebration

Knocking, engagement, church, lawn and everything between them. One planner yours from the first meeting, a second on the day itself, and the guest list run by us from the first invitation to the last table plan.

All figures exclude VAT and the wedding's own budget.

What sits on top

Outside Accra

Kumasi, Cape Coast, Ho, Takoradi, Tamale and the villages behind all of them.

₵4,500 per celebration, plus the crew's beds

A second planner

Automatic above four hundred guests and sensible above three. One with you, one at the venue.

₵6,000 for the day

Guest management

Invitations out, replies chased, seating drawn, dietary list held and the table plan printed.

₵7,500, included in the Whole Weekend

The real number

What the wedding itself costs

Long dressed tables under a pergola set for a wedding breakfast

Four hundred guests, a marquee, a floor, a generator, catering, cloth for both families, cars, cake, sound and photography ran between ₵180,000 and ₵420,000 in Accra last year. The spread is mostly the guest count and the cloth. We will put a real figure against your own after one hour.

We would rather lose the work than take a couple into a wedding they will spend two years paying for.

Questions about money

Is this the whole cost?

No — it is our fee. The wedding itself is a separate budget that you hold and we spend on your behalf, in front of you. A four-hundred-guest wedding in Accra with a marquee, catering, cloth and cars ran between ₵180,000 and ₵420,000 last year, and we will give you a real figure for your own after one conversation.

Do you take commission from suppliers?

Never, from anyone, in sixteen years. It is the only way we can tell you honestly that a supplier is charging too much, and several of them dislike us for it.

How is it paid?

A third to hold the date, a third at the drawing, a third two weeks before the first celebration. Mobile money, bank transfer or card. Everything is receipted and the supplier ledger is yours to read at any point.

What if the date moves?

It moves with you at no charge, once, to any date we still have free. That is not generosity — dates moved on us thirty-one times during the pandemic and the policy has been the same since.

Twenty weddings a year, and the good Saturdays go early.

If your date is inside eighteen months it is worth asking now — we hold dates for a fortnight while you decide, at no cost.
