What fasting actually means before a blood test

Eight to twelve hours, water allowed, and that includes the sugar in your tea. Why a negative malaria test is not always the end of it

A rapid test looks for a protein that can linger for weeks after treatment, and a film looks for parasites that may be sequestered when the blood was taken. Neither is wrong; they answer different questions. If you are still febrile on day three with a negative result, the right move is a repeat film, not a different pharmacy.
