Tell us what has stopped working
A sentence is enough to start with. We will tell you whether it needs a survey, a call-out or five minutes of advice on the phone — and the last one is free.

Four ways to reach the yard
All four go to a person rather than to a queue. Pick whichever suits what has gone wrong.
Ring the yard
+233 30 291 7040Weekdays seven until six, Saturday mornings. A tradesperson answers, not a receptionist reading a script.
Emergency line
+233 24 411 7040Any hour, every day. It rings the duty foreman's own phone and it is answered inside three rings or it is broken.
Photographs help enormously. Send one of the board, the leak or the unit and we can often tell you the answer without coming.
Working with us
jobs@beacon.comVacancies and apprenticeships. Kwabena reads these himself and rings back, usually within the week.

Something not working? Tell us about it today

Four steps, none of them a surprise
01
You ring or write
Describe it in a sentence. We will tell you straight away whether it needs a survey, a call-out, or five minutes of advice on the phone.
02
A tradesperson surveys it
Usually inside two working days, and free. The person who looks is the person who will do the work, which is why the quote holds.
03
You get an itemised price
In writing, within two more days, broken into labour and materials. Valid for thirty days and honoured at the end of them.
04
We do it and prove it
Named foreman, agreed dates, and a handover with the test readings, the photographs and the twelve-month guarantee attached.

Licensed and certified
Every circuit we leave behind is signed off against the Energy Commission's wiring regulations, by the licence holder who did it.
Our own tradespeople
Thirty-eight electricians, plumbers and fitters on the payroll. No day labour, no subcontractor you have never met turning up at your gate.
The price before the work
A written quote inside two working days, itemised and honoured. If the job changes we tell you before the invoice does.
Asked often
Three things people ring to ask
What counts as an emergency?
A dead board, a burst main, a leak coming through a ceiling, or anything smoking. Ring +233 24 411 7040 at any hour and a duty foreman answers — not a call centre and not an answering machine.
Do you charge for the survey?
No. Surveys and quotes are free and there is no obligation attached to either. You owe us nothing until you have seen an itemised price and said yes to it.
How does payment work?
A deposit for materials on larger jobs, the balance on completion once you have walked the work with the foreman. Mobile money, transfer or cheque, and a proper receipt for all of it.
What people say
Reviews from the people who paid the invoice
“Three people had looked at that leak and told me it was the roof. Beacon found it in an hour — a pinhole in a riser behind the wardrobe — and fixed it the same afternoon.”
Adjoa Mensimah
Homeowner, Adenta
“They sized my changeover off what I actually run rather than off the machine plates. The generator is half what the last quote wanted and it has never once tripped.”
Kwesi Amankwah
Print shop, Spintex Road
“Fourteen units, three weekends, and not one tenant complained. That has never happened to me with a contractor before and I have been doing this for eleven years.”
Naana Otoo
Facilities manager, Airport City
