Three rounds cover most gardens. Six one-off jobs cover almost everything else, and all of them are quoted before anything is cut.

A fortnightly cut through the rains and a three-weekly one through harmattan, with the edges done every visit rather than every other. Twice a year we scarify, aerate and top-dress; once a year we feed. It is the difference between a lawn that is cut and a lawn that is kept.

Planting and pruning
Hedges shaped, shrubs pruned to their habit rather than to a cube, and beds planted with things that actually like Accra — frangipani, ixora, heliconia, bougainvillea. We prune for next season's flower, which means some things get cut later than you might expect and we will explain why.

Seasonal clean-up
A whole-garden reset at the turn of a season: everything cut back, the beds weeded and mulched, gutters and paths cleared and every bag of green waste taken off site. Most gardens want one at the end of harmattan and one before the heavy rains.

Jobs that do not sit on a round
Quoted on their own, done on their own, and never bundled into a monthly figure to make it look smaller.

Design, installation and servicing of pop-up and drip systems, with a controller anybody in the house can actually work.

Rounds across Greater Accra
Our vans run four fixed routes a week. If you are on one of them we can usually start within the fortnight; if you are not, we will say so rather than take the work and be late to it.

Pick a day and a round that suits the household. We work Monday to Saturday and hold your slot.

What people ask before booking a round
How often should I schedule lawn maintenance?
Fortnightly through the rains, when grass in Accra can put on an inch a week, and three-weekly through harmattan. We move you between the two rounds ourselves rather than waiting to be asked, and the monthly figure stays the same either way.
How can I control weeds in my garden?
Mostly by mulching and by cutting at the right height. We use no residual herbicides at all: everything we do is safe for children and animals to walk on the same afternoon, which does mean some hand-weeding, and it is included.
Am I tied into a contract?
No. We bill monthly in arrears for the visits actually made and you can stop at the end of any month. Anything one-off — a clearance, a planting scheme — is quoted and agreed in writing before we start.
