Working at this practice
Seventeen people, four of them here since the building was two floors smaller. Nobody has left for another clinic in six years, which is either a very good sign or a very suspicious one.
Careers
Why people stay
Four conditions, not four perks
Nobody has left this practice for another clinic in six years. These are the four things the bench give as the reason.
Twenty-minute lists
The standard appointment is twenty minutes and we do not shorten it to fit more people in. It is the single reason most of the bench came here.
A real say in the practice
Every clinician sits in the Monday meeting and everything from the referral list to the fee schedule is decided there rather than announced at it.
Study leave that exists
Forty hours a year, paid, plus a half day each quarter when the clinic closes so the whole team can train together. It is in the contract, not in the handbook.
Indemnity and equipment
Full medical indemnity, licence renewal and MDC dues covered. An accredited laboratory downstairs, and imaging you do not have to argue for.

To an answer, either way

Nothing here that fits?
Write anyway. Two of the six doctors on the bench arrived that way, and neither of the roles they now hold was advertised.
Same-week appointments

Bring a photo ID and your NHIS card if you have one. Registration takes about ten minutes and you can usually be seen the same week.
