Homes looked after

A dedicated crew focused on getting the job done properly, first time.

Handy began in 2014 with two vans and one promise: turn up when we say we will. Twelve years on we run eleven crews across Greater Accra covering electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, roofing, grounds and deep cleaning — every one of them directly employed, background-checked and insured.

Our promise

What we stand for

Four things we will not trade away, however busy the week gets.

We turn up

A two-hour window, a message when the van leaves, and a call from a person rather than a text from a system if anything slips.

The price is the price

Quoted in writing, itemised, and honoured. If the job changes you get a new quote before we carry on, not a bigger invoice afterwards.

Our own crews

Every trade is directly employed, background-checked and insured. Nobody subcontracts your home to somebody neither of us has met.

We leave it clean

Dust sheets down, waste taken away, and the furniture back where it started. It costs us an extra twenty minutes and it is why people call again.

The crew

The people who turn up

Eleven crews across Greater Accra, led by six people who have been doing this a long time.

What people say afterwards

Unedited, and collected after the invoice rather than before it.

Asked often

Three things people ring to ask

Which trades do you actually cover?

Electrical, plumbing and drainage, carpentry and joinery, painting and decorating, roofing and waterproofing, grounds and gardens, and deep cleaning. Everything is done by our own directly employed crews — if a job needs something we do not do, we will say so and tell you who does.

How does pricing work?

Small work is charged by the hour with a one-hour minimum. Anything larger is quoted in writing before we start, itemised so you can see what the preparation costs separately from the finish. The quote is what you pay unless you ask us to change the job, and then you get a new one before we carry on.

What happens if something goes wrong afterwards?

Our workmanship carries twelve months, and roofing carries five years. If something we did fails inside that, we come back and put it right at no charge — no argument about whether it was the fitting or the fitter. Manufacturer warranties on parts run alongside that, and we register them for you.
