BOOKING

Book an appointment

Three steps, and a person at the end of each one

1

Tell us what is wrong

Call 030 274 1200, or send the form on the contact page. Someone answers between 07:00 and 19:00.

2

We match you to a consultant

Not to whoever is free — to the doctor whose clinic your problem actually belongs in.

3

You get a time and a price

Both in writing, before you travel. If we cannot see you this week, we say so.

Common questions

The things people ask us before they walk in

How do I book an appointment?

Call 030 274 1200 between 07:00 and 19:00 on a weekday, or send the form on the contact page at any hour. We will come back with a consultant, a time and a price before you travel.

Do you accept NHIS and private insurance?

Yes. We are NHIS accredited and hold agreements with the major private schemes. Bring your card and we will check your cover at the desk rather than after the appointment.

What happens if I arrive at Accident & Emergency?

A triage nurse sees everyone who comes through the door, in order of how unwell they are rather than order of arrival. The department is staffed every hour of every day, including public holidays.

How much will it cost?

Consultations start at GH₵ 250 and every quoted price includes the doctor's time and the notes. Investigations and procedures are quoted separately, in writing, before they are booked.

When can I visit someone on a ward?

General wards are open to visitors from 10:00 to 12:00 and 16:00 to 19:00. Two visitors at a time, and the children's ward keeps a parent's bed beside every cot.
