Glasses
Ten frames, and one of them fits you
Every optical frame we make, cut from bio-acetate or titanium and glazed to your prescription at the Spintex workshop.
Ten optical frames
All of them take single vision. All but Nzulezo take progressives, and we say which on every product page rather than after you have paid.
Stocking the shelves…
The lens part
The bit nobody explains properly
Every frame on this page is a price for the frame. Lenses are extra, and here is exactly what they cost and how long they take.
Single vision, GH₵ 180
One prescription across the whole lens, for distance or for reading. Three working days from the day we have your script.
Progressive, GH₵ 640
Distance at the top, reading at the bottom, no line between. Five working days, and we measure your pupil height in the shop because a guess here is the difference between working and unwearable.
Coatings, from GH₵ 90
Anti-reflective is worth it if you drive at night. Blue filter is worth less than the internet thinks. We will tell you which of the two you actually need.

What people say
The three things we get told most
I had worn the same frame for nine years because trying on new ones in a shop always felt like an exam. They just let me sit with four of them for an hour.

Esi Ampofo
Bought in Osu
My progressive lenses were wrong twice at another shop. Iris remade them once, free, and then spent twenty minutes explaining what had actually gone wrong the first time.

Kojo Asante
Bought in East Legon
I sat on the Keta in a taxi. Took them back expecting a bill and they straightened them at the counter while I stood there. Still wearing them.

Questions
About lenses and fitting
Can I put my prescription in any of these?
In all of them except Nzulezo, which is single vision only because the half-rim cord cannot hold a progressive lens safely. Everything else takes single vision or progressive. Send us the prescription and we will tell you before you pay if there is a problem with it.
How long does an order take?
Frames without lenses leave the shop the next working day. Frames with single vision take three working days, progressives five. If we are waiting on a lens we will say so before you pay, not after.
I do not have a current prescription.
Book a test at any of the nine shops. It takes about twenty-five minutes with one of our optometrists and costs GH₵ 120, which comes off the price of any frame you buy that day.
What if the fit is wrong when it arrives?
Bring it into any shop and we will adjust it while you wait, for as long as you own it, at no charge. If it is the wrong frame rather than the wrong fit, you have thirty days to exchange it.
