Work with us

Six people in twelve years

We hire slowly and keep people a long time. Three roles are open for the coming season and none of them will be filled in a hurry.

Open now

Three roles for the 2026–27 season. They stay open until the right person turns up rather than until the month ends.

Planner

East Legon · Full time · GH₵ 5,400 – 7,200 a month

You would carry four to six celebrations a year as second, and take your own from the second season. Two years in events, or one and an unusually good reason.

Weekends in season, and a four-day week outside it

Every supplier relationship in the studio is yours to use

Named on the contract from your first solo celebration

Production coordinator

East Legon · Full time · GH₵ 4,200 – 5,800 a month

Site, suppliers, deliveries and the order things arrive in. The job is logistics rather than taste, and it is the one the whole day rests on.

Driving licence essential; the studio provides the vehicle

On site from dawn on celebration days, off from Tuesday

Trained on rigging, power and sound within the first season

Season assistant

East Legon · Nov–Mar · GH₵ 2,400 a month

One dry season, paid, with no expectation on either side at the end of it. Two of the six people here started this way.

Paid. We do not take unpaid interns and never have

You will be on site for at least eight celebrations

A written reference at the end, whatever happens next

Before you apply

Three things people wish they had been told.

You will lose your Saturdays from November to March

Five months of the year, most weekends. Outside the season the studio works four days and closes for the whole of August, which is the trade and we will not pretend otherwise.

It is a physical job before it is a creative one

Fourteen hours on your feet, in the sun, moving furniture. The taste part is about a tenth of the week and it is the tenth everybody talks about.

You are named, and you are paid on time

Every celebration lists the planner who ran it. Salaries are paid on the 25th and have never once been late, including the year we nearly closed.

How to apply

No covering letter. Send your CV and one paragraph about an event you have worked on that went wrong, and what you did in the twenty minutes after you noticed. That paragraph is the whole application.
