The numbers, before you ask for them
Our fee, what the day itself is likely to cost, and how the money moves. Published because the first meeting is more useful when nobody is guessing.
Our fee
Three ways in. The fee is fixed at signing and does not move with your budget — we have no reason to want you to spend more.

What the day costs
Real 2026 ranges for Greater Accra, excluding our fee. We would rather you knew now.
Eighty guests
A garden, a real caterer, a band for three hours and flowers that are actually fresh.
A hundred and fifty guests
The commonest wedding we plan. Marquee or hall, full catering, sound, décor and photography.
Three hundred and up
Two ceremonies across a weekend, transport, and a crew large enough that nothing waits on one person.
Traditional rites alone
Knocking and the customary ceremony at a family compound, with catering for the two families.
How we bill
A third to hold the date, a third six weeks out, a third on the Monday after. Supplier payments go directly to the supplier — we never hold your money, and every invoice reaches you with our margin on it, which is nothing.
Mobile money, bank transfer or card. If the date moves for a reason nobody chose, the fee moves with it at no charge; if you cancel, the held third stays with us and nothing else does.
Money
The four we are asked most often, answered plainly.
What does a wedding in Accra actually cost?
A hundred and fifty guests done properly, with a real caterer and a real sound system, starts around GH₵ 180,000 in 2026. We will tell you honestly at the first meeting whether your number and your guest list can live together.
Do you take commission from suppliers?
No, and we never have. Every quote reaches you exactly as it reaches us. Our fee is our income, which is the only arrangement under which our advice about a supplier is worth anything.
How far ahead should we book you?
Most couples come to us ten to fourteen months out. We take a small number of celebrations a year and December and January go first, so a Saturday in the dry season is often gone eighteen months ahead.
We are only having forty people. Is that too small?
It is often the best work we do. A short guest list buys detail rather than scale, and the planning is no less involved — the fee scales with the work, not with the head count.
