The planners
Six people, and what each of them owns
A small bench on purpose. You are given one of them at signing and you keep them until the last invoice.

Adjoa Mensimah
Founder, lead planner
Started the studio in 2013 with one couple and a rented compound. Still takes eight celebrations a year herself.

Naa Dedei Quartey
Head of production
Runs the site: tents, power, deliveries, the order things arrive in, and every supplier's phone number.

Efua Amponsah
Design and styling
Draws every scheme. Trained in textiles in Kumasi, which is why our tables never look like anybody else's.

Serwaa Boachie
Guest experience
Travel, rooms, transfers and the family logistics nobody wants to think about until the week before.

Akos Dartey
Traditional rites
Sits with both families before anything is booked, so the customary order is agreed while it is still easy.

Mansa Owusu
Studio manager
Contracts, schedules and the answer to your email. Has never once lost a document.
Who you get
Three commitments about staffing, in writing.
One named lead, throughout
You are given a planner at signing and you keep them. Not a team inbox, not whoever is free that week — the same person from the first meeting to the last invoice.
Two of us on the day, minimum
Three from a hundred and fifty guests, four above three hundred. Nobody senior is ever the only one who knows where something is.
A second who has read everything
Your lead's deputy attends the last two planning sessions and the rehearsal. If somebody is ill on the Friday, the day does not notice.
We hire slowly
Six people in twelve years, and four of them are still here. When we do open a role it stays open until the right person turns up rather than until the month ends.
