Our practice areas

Six practices held by one bench of six advocates — which is why a matter that turns out to be two matters does not become two firms.

What we do

Six practices, one bench

Most of our work sits where two of these meet — a shareholder dispute that is really a family matter, a land title that decides a financing. Coming in through one door does not mean staying behind it.

Corporate & Commercial

Incorporations, joint ventures, shareholder agreements and the day-to-day counsel a growing company needs on hand.

Litigation & Arbitration

Property & Conveyancing

Family & Succession

Wills, probate, estate administration and matrimonial matters handled quietly and with the family kept informed.

Employment & Labour

Contracts, handbooks, redundancies and hearings — the paperwork that keeps a workforce dispute from becoming a case.

How it runs

From first call to closed file

Step 01

The first conversation

Thirty minutes, no charge and no pitch. You describe what you are facing; we tell you whether we can help, roughly what it would take, and whether somebody else would serve you better.

Step 02

A scope in writing

What we will do, who does it, what it costs and what a realistic outcome looks like — including the outcome you would rather not read about. Nothing starts until you have signed it.

Step 03

The work, with the door open

Every filing, letter and hearing note reaches you the same week, each with a plain-language paragraph on top. You will never learn what happened in your matter from somebody else.

Step 04

Closing, and what comes after

A closing memo with the outcome, the documents you now hold and the dates you have to keep. Six months later we check in — free — that whatever we built is still standing.
