About Us

Dedicated to improving lives through trusted, unhurried healthcare in East Legon.

Who we are

A centre built around

one continuous record

Dr. Yaw Asante opened four rooms on Boundary Road in 2002 because he was tired of watching patients repeat their history to a different doctor every visit. The centre has grown to six departments and its own laboratory, and that founding irritation is still the organising idea: one file, one team, one place that knows you.

Twenty-four years later most of our patients came to us because somebody in their family already had. That is the only marketing this practice has ever really had, and it is the one we would rather keep.

Our promise

Mission for better health

Four commitments printed on the wall behind reception, so a patient can hold us to them.

Twenty minutes, not eight

A first consultation is booked for twenty minutes as standard. If it needs longer it takes longer, and the room after yours is told rather than left waiting in silence.

The same doctor

You are assigned a doctor, not a department. Where the roster allows, every review, result and referral goes back to the person who saw you first.

Plain answers

Results are explained by a doctor on the phone before they reach your inbox, in the words they would use with their own family — including the ones nobody wants to hear.

The price before the test

Reception quotes what a visit will cost before it happens, tells you what your scheme covers, and does not add a line you did not agree to.

18 clinicians

on the roster, six of them consultants who hold their own clinics here.

One laboratory

on site, so most routine results are read the same morning they are taken.

Never closed

since the emergency room opened in 2009 — including every public holiday since.

Why us

Why patients trust us

Three things people tell us they came back for. None of them is a machine.

Comfortable Facilities

Air-conditioned consulting rooms, a quiet children's corner and a waiting area with enough seats that nobody stands.

Aftercare That Follows Up

A nurse calls every patient discharged from the observation bay the following day. It is the cheapest thing we do and the one people mention most.

One Continuous Record

Every visit, result and prescription in one file, so a new symptom is read against your history rather than in isolation.

experienced doctors

Consultants who keep their own clinics rather than rotating through ours, so the doctor you saw in March is the doctor you see in September.

Experience an

exciting new chapter

The centre opened in 2002 with four rooms and one X-ray machine. What has not changed is the rule it opened on: the doctor finishes the sentence, not the clock.
