Working here

A practice built around clinicians

Eighteen of us, one building, and a rota written six weeks ahead. The centre is privately held by the doctors who work in it, which is why the appointment length has never been shortened to improve a number.

You keep your own list

Consultants here hold continuing clinics rather than rotating through a pool. Your patients are your patients.

Twenty-minute appointments

The booking system is built around them and nobody is asked to run four to the hour to make a target.

Study leave that is real

Ten days and the fees for one accredited course a year, agreed at appraisal rather than argued for afterwards.

Diagnostics in the building

Your own laboratory, ultrasound and digital X-ray, so a working diagnosis does not wait a fortnight for a slot.
