Careers
Eighteen of us in one building, a rota written six weeks ahead, and appointments long enough to do the job properly.

A practice built around clinicians
Eighteen of us, one building, and a rota written six weeks ahead. The centre is privately held by the doctors who work in it, which is why the appointment length has never been shortened to improve a number.
You keep your own list
Consultants here hold continuing clinics rather than rotating through a pool. Your patients are your patients.
Twenty-minute appointments
The booking system is built around them and nobody is asked to run four to the hour to make a target.
Study leave that is real
Ten days and the fees for one accredited course a year, agreed at appraisal rather than argued for afterwards.
Diagnostics in the building
Your own laboratory, ultrasound and digital X-ray, so a working diagnosis does not wait a fortnight for a slot.
Six posts open this quarter
Send a CV and one paragraph on why this practice rather than a bigger one. Everybody gets an answer, including the ones we cannot take.
General Practitioner
Two posts. GMDC registration and at least three years post-housemanship. Weekday clinics with one Saturday in four.
Registered Midwife
Antenatal clinics and postnatal reviews alongside Dr. Owusu. NMC registration required.
Physiotherapist
Three days a week in the first-floor rehabilitation room. Post-surgical and stroke rehabilitation experience preferred.
Laboratory Scientist
Haematology and clinical chemistry benches, with a share of the weekend rota. Allied Health Professions Council registration required.
Front Desk Officer
The first person every patient meets. Twi and English fluency essential; a third Ghanaian language welcome.
Four steps, about three weeks
Send it in
A CV and a paragraph to careers@tend.com.gh. No form to fill in.
A conversation
Half an hour with the clinical lead for the department, usually within a week.
A morning with us
Sit in on a clinic, meet the desk, and see the rota before you decide.
An offer in writing
Terms, rota and study leave in one letter, with nothing agreed verbally.
Send us your CV
careers@tend.com.gh — one paragraph is plenty. Everybody who writes gets a reply.
