About us
A hospital that explains itself
Fifteen years of consultant-led care on Independence Avenue, built around one rule: nobody leaves without understanding what happens next.

Our story
A hospital built by the people who work in it
We opened in 2011 with six consulting rooms above a pharmacy on Ridge Road, three doctors and a borrowed ultrasound machine. What we had instead of equipment was a rule: nobody leaves without understanding what is wrong with them and what happens next.
Fifteen years later the hospital runs ninety beds, four theatres and an emergency department that never closes — and the rule has not changed. It is written on the wall of every clinic room, which sounds sentimental until you have sat in one of them.
What we promise
Four things we hold ourselves to
Not values in the poster sense. Four specific commitments, each of which a patient can hold us to on the day.
Plain language, always
Every diagnosis is explained twice — once in the room and once on paper you take home. If you did not follow it, that is our failure rather than yours.
The same doctor each time
Continuity is the default here, not a request. You will see the consultant whose name is on your file unless they are away, and you will be told if they are.
The cost before the treatment
Nothing happens until you know what it costs. Estimates are written, itemised and honoured — and if a plan changes mid-course you are told before the bill does.
Open when people are ill
General clinics run six days a week including Saturday mornings, and the emergency department has a consultant in the building every hour of the year.

About Zenith
Zenith is a private multi-speciality hospital on Independence Avenue, built around consultant-led teams and modern diagnostics. Our mission is to deliver care that treats a person rather than a presenting complaint.
Founded in 2011, the hospital has grown from a six-room clinic in Ridge into a 90-bed facility recognised for its emergency medicine, maternity service and day-surgery programme — and licensed throughout by the Health Facilities Regulatory Agency.
