Appointments
Booking takes about four minutes
Most people are offered something within four working days. The emergency department never needs an appointment at all.

What to bring
Five things, none of which take long to find, and all of which save an appointment being repeated.
A photo ID — Ghana Card, passport or driver's licence.
Your NHIS card or private insurance card, if you have one.
Any medicines you are taking, in their own boxes rather than written on a list.
Reports, discharge summaries or imaging discs from anywhere else you have been seen.
The name of whoever referred you, if somebody did.
If this is an emergency, do not book
Come straight to the emergency department or ring the line below. There is a consultant in the building every hour of the year.
Personalised care
We build every plan around one person's history, one person's household and one person's working week — not around an average patient.
