What we can actually promise you
Not the highest salaries in Accra. What we do have is a rota you can plan a life around and a hospital that talks about its mistakes out loud.
A rota published six weeks out
Nobody finds out on Thursday that they are working the weekend. Swaps go through the ward manager, not through whoever shouts loudest, and nights are shared by grade.
Study leave that is actually taken
Ten days a year and the fees to go with them, protected in the rota rather than granted in principle. Fourteen residents train here at any one time and the hospital pays their college dues.
The Friday meeting
Every death and every readmission is discussed in front of everybody who was involved, from the consultant to the healthcare assistant. Nobody is blamed in that room and nobody is protected in it either.

Nothing here that fits?
Write anyway. Roughly a third of the people working here arrived through a speculative letter, and a hospital this size creates about two posts a month that never reach a job board.
