Good beans. Better mornings.

Roast began as one drum roaster in a garage off Oxford Street and a list of forty people who wanted a bag each Friday. The list is longer now and the roaster is bigger, but the week still turns on the same Tuesday morning and the coffee still goes out the day it is bagged.

Roasted on Tuesday

Bagged the same afternoon and never sold past three weeks old.

Four growers, all of whom we have sat down with, all paid above the going rate.

Four sets we put together ourselves, for the times when a single bag is not the present.

What people say about us

We have never asked anybody for a review. These arrived on their own, and we have their permission to print them.

I have been buying the Atlas for two years. It has never once turned up stale, and when I changed machines they reground the whole standing order without me asking.

The office subscription is the only thing everybody agrees on. Two kilos lands on a Wednesday and the grinder came with somebody who taught us to use it.

Coffee being poured at a table in the shop

I went in for a cup and left with a cone, a kettle and instructions written on the back of the receipt. Best money I have spent on a kitchen.
