Fees & Cover

Our Fees, Printed. Our Cover, Explained.

Nobody should be working out what tonight will cost while their child is unwell — so the numbers are on this page rather than behind a phone call.

What It Costs

Our Fees, Printed Rather Than Quoted

These are the self-pay prices as of July 2026. If you are insured or on NHIS, the desk tells you your share before the appointment rather than after it.

Cashless Cover

You Should Not Have To Think About Money Tonight

NHIS

Accepted for outpatient paediatrics, immunisation, emergency attendance and inpatient stays. Bring the card; if it has lapsed, the desk will still see your child and sort it afterwards.

Cashless with the major insurers

Direct settlement with Nationwide, Acacia, GLICO Health, Apex, Metropolitan and Cosmopolitan. You sign one form on arrival and pay nothing on the day.

Corporate schemes

Company and school schemes invoiced monthly against a named list. If your employer is not on it, we will set it up — it takes about a fortnight.

The assistance fund

For families who cannot meet a bill. The referral is made by the ward sister on the day, not at discharge, and it is not means-tested by a stranger in an office.

Not sure whether your cover applies? Ring the fees desk before you come and they will check it against your policy number while you wait.

Before You Ask

The Three Questions The Desk Gets Daily

Will the bill be what you quoted?

For a consultation, yes — the fee above is the fee. For a procedure, the fees desk gives you a written estimate before it happens, and if the clinical picture changes mid-stay somebody tells you the same day rather than at discharge.

Do you take a deposit for an admission?

For a planned admission, a deposit of about a third is usual and it comes off the final bill. For an emergency admission there is no deposit and nobody will ask you for one while your child is being treated.

How can I pay?

Cash, card, mobile money on all three networks, or bank transfer. Instalments over three months are available on anything above GHS 3,000 without interest — ask at the fees desk rather than after the bill arrives.

Our Promise

Four Things We Will Not Compromise On

Open Every Hour

A consultant paediatrician physically present from eight in the morning until midnight, and on call in the building overnight. Every night.

One Team, One File

Three specialities in one morning rather than three appointments in three months — and one set of notes that all of them write in.

Parents Stay

A parent bed beside every cot on every ward. Nobody has ever been asked to leave their child here at visiting time.

Said Plainly

Every result explained in words you can repeat to somebody else, and written down before you go home. Acronyms are our problem, not yours.

Always Within Reach

Paediatric Care That's Always Within Reach

Book a consultation, speak with our team, or head to us in an emergency. Our support is responsive, informed and continuous — and somebody answers the phone at three in the morning.
