Working here
A busy district hospital, eleven minutes from home
A hundred and eighteen people work at this hospital and most of them live within a few streets of it. That is the thing that makes the place work, and it is the thing we hire for.

What a post at this hospital is actually like
We are not going to pretend this is a research institution. It is a busy district hospital where you will see more in a year than most people see in three, and go home at the end of your shift.
You will do the work, not watch it
A registrar here operates, delivers and runs a clinic list in the same week. At a teaching hospital that would be three years away.
Ho, at Ho prices
A consultant's salary here goes considerably further than the same one in Accra, and the commute is eleven minutes. Housing is available for clinical staff relocating.
Study leave that is actually taken
Fourteen days a year, funded, and covered by the rota rather than by your colleagues' goodwill. We have never refused a college exam.
