The ingredients
Everything in it grows here
Shea pressed in the Upper West and left unrefined. Hibiscus grown and dried in Bolgatanga. Baobab from trees older than the shop. We buy all three direct, and we pay the price the growers set.

From Osu
Made for skin that lives in this climate
Humidity for nine months of the year, harmattan for the other three, and the sun on the same side of your face in traffic every morning. We formulate for that on Lokko Road, and nothing reaches the shelf until it has been through both seasons on people who live here.

What is not in it
Vegan, and never tested on an animal
No animal ingredients and no animal testing, at any point, by us or by anyone we buy from. The shea comes from a women's cooperative in the Upper West, the glass goes back for a refill at all three shops, and the full list is printed on the box rather than kept on a website.

Fragrance free — so the mist and the cream can sit on the same face without arguing.
Actives named on the front — with the percentage next to them, not buried in the ingredients list.
Tested by a dermatologist — on two hundred people in Accra, across a full year of both seasons.

What people actually say
Every one of these is from somebody who bought the thing they are talking about.

The hibiscus mist is the only thing in my bag that survives an hour in Accra traffic.
