Working here

Four things we can promise a decorator

There is no shortage of firms in Accra looking for people who can paint. What is scarce is one that pays on time and teaches you something.

Paid weekly, on Friday

Every week, whether the client has paid us or not. Overtime at time and a half, and the night rate on commercial work is separate from it.

Trained at our cost

Two apprentices a year through the NVTI assessment, and spray, access and scaffold tickets paid for anybody who wants them.

Proper kit, replaced

Brushes, rollers, masks and boots supplied and renewed. Nobody on this firm has ever had to buy their own dust sheets.

One crew, not a rota

You stay with the same lead and the same three or four people, which is how the work stays good and why most of our people have been here over five years.

Four jobs we are actually trying to fill

Decorator, interiors

Cutting in without tape, hanging lining paper, and knowing when a surface is not ready. Four years on the tools minimum.

Full time · East Legon

Sprayer, workshop

Joinery sprayed off site and hung finished. HVLP experience essential; we will pay for the ticket if you have the hand and not the paperwork.

Full time · Workshop

Exterior painter

Facades, render and metalwork, mostly at height. Working-at-height certification, or we will put you through it in your first month.

Full time · Site based

Apprentice decorator

Two places a year, paid from the first week, four days on site and one at the NVTI. No experience wanted — bring the willingness to sand things.

Two years · Paid

Send us where you have worked and one photograph of something you finished. That tells us more than a CV does.
