Our history
We have been finishing buildings since 1994.
Long enough that some of our first clients are now on their third project with us, and long enough that we still have the drawings for the first one.

Our story
Thirty-two years of finishing things.
Mason started in 1994 as a six-man carpentry crew in Baatsona, taking the roofs nobody else wanted. The joinery shop is still there, and it is still the reason a late drawing change costs us days rather than a container from abroad.
We now run five site teams and a plant yard, and the work has grown from houses to hospitals — but the way it is priced, programmed and handed over has not changed since the first roof.

Our history
Thirty-two years, seven firsts.
Nothing here happened quickly. Each one of these took two or three years of doing smaller work well enough to be asked.
1994
Six carpenters and a lorry
Kojo Mason takes on roofing work in Baatsona that the bigger firms are turning down. The joinery shop opens in a rented bay in Tema the following spring.
2001
The first block of flats
Twelve units in Dansoman, our first job with a structural engineer on it. It teaches us to programme the reinforcement before the formwork rather than after.
2008
D1 / K1 classification
Classification with the Ministry of Works & Housing opens public work. We buy our first two excavators the same year rather than hiring them again.
2013
First structural steel frame
A warehouse in the Tema Heavy Industrial Area, and the first job where our own welders are certified rather than subcontracted.
2017
ISO 9001, and a bond
Quality certification and a GHS 12M bonding facility arrive within four months of each other, which together change the size of job we can bid for.
2021
Kumasi yard opens
A second plant yard in Asokwa cuts mobilisation on Ashanti Region work from nine days to two.
2025
Contractor of the year
The Ghana Building Awards name us contractor of the year, in the same season we hand over the Ridge Medical Annex eleven weeks early.

Our record is the argument. From high-rise offices to motorway structures, we hand over buildings that are still doing their job a decade later — and we can show you the ones we finished before the date said so.
