Who we are
Seventeen years of building in Accra
Rise started in 2009 as two finishers and a pickup in Madina, taking on the jobs larger contractors would not touch. The first full house came in 2013. The first nine-storey frame topped out last year.
What has not changed is that we employ our own tradesmen on the trades that decide whether a building is any good — blockwork, steel fixing, carpentry and finishes. Subcontractors have their place, and it is not the critical path.
We are registered D1 / K1 with the Ministry of Works and Housing, which means we are allowed to tender for the largest class of building and civil works in the country. We mostly do not. We would rather run four jobs properly than fourteen badly.
