About the practice
Laugh with confidence
Every smile has its own story. Ten minutes from the Legon interchange, Sage is here to look after yours — with unhurried appointments, plain answers and treatment planned around what you actually want.
We do not only improve teeth. We guide you towards the oral health you want to keep, and we stay with you at every step of the way there.
More about us
Unhurried appointments
A first appointment here is forty minutes, not fifteen. That is long enough to look properly, to explain what we found, and for you to ask the question you came in worrying about.
The quote is the price
You get a written plan with a figure on it before anything starts. If the treatment changes, we stop and talk first — nobody at this practice adds to a bill in the chair.
Our own laboratory
Crowns, bridges and dentures are made in the room behind reception rather than sent abroad. It is why a crown here takes days instead of weeks, and why the shade matches.

Why we opened
A dental practice people are not frightened of
Most people in Accra who avoid the dentist are not avoiding treatment. They are avoiding not knowing what it will cost, not being told what is happening, and being made to feel foolish for having left it. We built this practice around removing those three things, and everything else follows from that.
Your dentist
Dr. Charles Hammond
Hello. I am Charles, and I have been looking after teeth in Accra for nineteen years — the last eleven of them here. I trained at Korle Bu and spent four years in Leeds before coming home, which is where I learned that the part patients remember is not the treatment but whether anybody explained it.
So that is what I do. From a first check-up to a full reconstruction, you will know what is happening, what it costs and what happens if we wait. Let us keep your smile the one you already have.

In their words
What people say afterwards
I had put off going for six years because of one bad experience as a child. They took forty minutes to explain what they wanted to do before anything touched my mouth. I have been back four times since.
Afia Boadu
Patient since 2022
My son cracked a tooth on a Saturday morning. I called at nine, we were seen at eleven, and he was back at football the following week. No fuss, no lecture.
Kwesi Danquah
Airport Residential
The quote they gave me at the start is the amount I paid at the end. After what I had been through elsewhere that on its own was worth changing practice for.
