Serums
A serum is the thin one, and it is the step that does the work: one concern, one bottle, at a strength a cream cannot carry. It goes on third, after the mist and before the moisturiser, while your skin is still damp.
On the shelf today
Four bottles, four different jobs
None of these four does what another one does, which is why we would rather you started with one. Free delivery anywhere in Ghana over GH₵ 300, and thirty days to bring back a bottle you have already opened.

Where it goes
A serum goes on third, on damp skin
The four steps of an evening in Accra, in order, with the bottle that does each one named. If you only ever do two of them, do the first and the last.
01
Clean first, then mist
Gentle milk cleanser, then the Hibiscus toning mist. Do not dry your face after the mist. The serum goes on while the skin is still damp, and that is most of what makes it work.
02
Three drops, no more
Vitamin C serum in the morning, Niacinamide night oil at night. Press it in with your palms instead of rubbing it, and give it half a minute before anything else touches your face.
03
One at a time
Rice water essence and Neem blemish gel are serums too. Start one, and give it a fortnight before you decide about it. Four new bottles at once tells you nothing about which of them worked.
04
Seal it, then protect it
Shea renewal cream over the top, and Everyday SPF 50 last in the morning, over everything. A serum with no sunscreen after it is money spent on the wrong step.
Keep going
The other five steps
A serum on its own is a step, not a routine. These are the other five, in the order they go on your face.

Before you ask
What people ask at the counter
The five we answer most often, on the phone and across the counter in Osu. The rest, including refills and wholesale, are on the questions page.
Read every question How long does delivery take?
Accra and Tema go out the same day if the order is in before two, by rider, and you get his number. Kumasi and Takoradi are next day by bus, Tamale is two days, and the waybill number comes to you by SMS the moment the box leaves us. Delivery is free anywhere in Ghana over GH₵ 300.
Can I pay on delivery?
In Accra and Tema, yes: pay the rider by mobile money or in cash once the box is in your hands. Outside those two the bus company needs the order settled before it goes on, so it is mobile money or card first. Nothing is stored on our side either way.
Does the SPF leave a white cast on deep skin?
No, and it is the one product we reformulated three times to be able to say that. It goes on white and it is gone in about thirty seconds on every depth of skin we have tested it on, which is all of them, in daylight, on the shop floor. Come to Osu and put it on your own jaw before you buy it.
Can I return a jar I have already opened?
Within thirty days, opened or not. Skincare has to be used before anyone can judge it, and a jar somebody was afraid to open is no use to us or to them. Bring it to Osu or hand it back to the rider, and the refund goes to the account you paid from within three working days.
Is any of it safe to use while pregnant?
Most of it, and we would rather you asked than guessed. The cleanser, the mist, the shea cream, the baobab butter and the SPF are the ones we hand people without hesitating. For the three serums, take the ingredient list to your midwife or your doctor first, and ring 030 273 4180 if you would like somebody to read it out to you.
