Two spaces inside the building and one kitchen that will come to you. All three run off the same board and the same coals.
8–16 guests
The back room
Sixteen around one table with its own door onto the yard. Takes the whole board or a set menu, and the grill is close enough to hear.
20–40 guests
The yard
Twenty-two under the mango tree, or forty standing. Best between November and March, and covered enough to survive a surprise.

The whole house
Ninety seated, a hundred and thirty standing, the bar open and the room yours from five. We close to the public for it.
Off site
We will come to you
Weddings, outdoorings, company dinners and the occasional house party that got out of hand. We bring the grill, the coals and enough people that nobody has to help.
How it runs
From the first call to the last plate
Four steps, and you only have to do the first one.
You tell us the date and the number
That is genuinely all we need to say yes or no. Call the house or send a note — somebody answers the same day.
Day one
We send one menu and one number
A set menu built around what will be good that week, and the full cost including drinks. No line items you have to decode.
Within 48h
You change your mind twice
Everybody does. Numbers can move up to seventy-two hours before, and the menu up to a week before.
Any time
We cook
The room is laid an hour before you arrive. One person runs your evening start to finish, and you will know their name by the end of it.

Gather around the perfect table
Tables for two to eight are held online. For nine and over, or for the back room on its own, call the house and we will build the evening around you.
