Delivery

Where it goes, and what that costs

Four ways a parcel leaves Osu. Anything over GH₵ 500 travels free, wherever in Ghana it is going, and a Saturday costs the same as a Tuesday.

Where

When

What it costs

Accra and Tema

Same day, on a bike, if the order is in before two o'clock

Free over GH₵ 500, otherwise GH₵ 35

Kumasi, Takoradi and Tamale

Next day by bus, with a tracking number

Free over GH₵ 500, otherwise GH₵ 45

Everywhere else in Ghana

Two to three days

Free over GH₵ 500, otherwise GH₵ 60

Collected from a showroom

From ten the next morning, in Osu, Accra Mall or Adum

Free, always

The GH₵ 500 is the value of the order itself, before delivery and after anything that has come down in price. The rider calls the number on the order before leaving Osu; if nobody answers, the parcel comes back and goes out again the next morning at no extra charge.

Payment

Four ways to pay

All four work on the site and at the counter in all three showrooms, and none of them costs more than the others.

Card

Visa and Mastercard, debit or credit, at the counter and on the site. The bank asks for its own code before anything is charged.

Mobile money

MTN, Telecel and AT. A prompt arrives on the phone and you approve it with your PIN. Nothing is packed until it clears.

Bank transfer

Straight into the Orbit account, with the order number as the reference. The parcel goes out the morning the money lands.

Four parts, three months

On anything over GH₵ 2,000. The first part at the counter, three more monthly, no interest added. You need a Ghana Card and a mobile money number in the same name.

Cash is taken in all three showrooms. Riders do not carry change, so a delivery is paid for before it leaves the shop.

Cover

Two years, parts and labour

On every item in the shop, from the day you take it home. Here is exactly where the line falls, on both sides of it.

What the two years covers

Anything that fails in normal use, from the day you carry it out of the shop.

Parts and labour both. There is no bench fee and nothing to pay to be told what is wrong.

A battery that falls below eighty per cent of its health in the first year.

A handset to use in the meantime, if we keep your phone on the bench overnight.

What it does not

A cracked screen. We will quote for it, usually the same day, and it is not free.

Water of any kind, including a phone that has dried out and appears to work again.

A battery worn down by three years of charging, which is wear rather than a fault.

Anything already opened by somebody else, because we cannot tell what was changed.

Bring it into any of the three showrooms and we will either fix it, replace it, or refund it, in that order. Whichever of the two columns it falls under, somebody will tell you which one before you leave the counter.

The three we are asked most

The same three subjects again, in the words customers actually use. If yours is not here, call 030 274 1180 and somebody standing in the shop will answer.

Do you deliver outside Accra?

Anywhere in Ghana. Accra and Tema go out the same day if the order is in before two, on a bike, and you get a number to call the rider. Kumasi, Takoradi and Tamale are next day by bus with a tracking number. Delivery is free on anything over GH₵ 500 and GH₵ 35 under it, and we do not charge more for a Saturday.

What does the two-year cover include?

Parts and labour on anything that fails in normal use, on every item in the shop, from the day you take it home. Bring it into any of the three showrooms and we will either fix it, replace it, or refund it, in that order. It does not cover a cracked screen, water, or a battery worn down by three years of charging, and we will tell you which of those it is before you leave the counter.

Can I pay in instalments?

On anything over GH₵ 2,000, in four parts over three months, with the first part paid at the counter and no interest added. You need a Ghana Card and a mobile money number in the same name. It is approved or refused in about ten minutes, and if it is refused we will tell you why rather than leave you guessing.

Come and hold it before you buy it

Three showrooms, everything out of its box, and nobody following you around. Or order tonight and have it on a bike tomorrow morning.
