The collections

Three ways into the shop

Leather cut upstairs, outerwear with weight in it, and tailoring made to sit. Everything else is on one page, with prices.

Three leather cases in chestnut, black and tan standing in a row against pale grey

Bags and leather

Totes, crossbodies and the small things, cut one floor above the shop.

Coats and knitwear

Weight for Harmattan, and lambswool that does not pill by March.

A brown leather and suede ankle boot with a brass buckle on a stacked heel

Shoes and belts

Loafers, boots, and a belt that outlives the trousers it holds up.

Leather goods

Cut upstairs, tanned in Kumasi

Full-grain and vegetable-tanned, from a tannery in Kumasi. A tote takes eleven hours at the bench, and we repair anything we make for the first two years.

Leather goods

Carried, not stored

Six pieces, cut upstairs from hides tanned in Kumasi. A tote takes eleven hours and is unlined, because a lining is where a bag hides its stitching.

The eleven hours in a Labadi Tote

A tote, from the cutting table to the box, hour by hour.

Questions we get asked

Eight of them, answered the way we answer them on the phone.

All questions
Do you ship outside Ghana?

Yes. Five to eight working days across West Africa, seven to twelve everywhere else. Duties and any local charges are the customer's.

Can I return something?

Within twenty-one days, unworn, in the box it came in. Made-to-measure and monogrammed pieces stay yours.

Do you repair what you make?

Free for the first two years on anything made in the workshop. After that we charge what the materials and the hours cost, and tell you before we start.

How do I know my size?

Every piece carries its measurements. If you would rather not guess, send us a garment that already fits you and the workshop matches it.

What leather do you use?

Full-grain and vegetable-tanned, from a tannery in Kumasi we have bought from since 2016. It marks in the first month and then stops.

Do you make to measure?

Tailoring and bags, both. Four to six weeks from the first fitting, and you come in twice.

How should I pay?

Card, mobile money or bank transfer. Anything above GHS 2,000 can go over three months at no extra cost.

Can I visit the workshop?

Saturdays, by appointment. It is one floor above the shop and there are eleven people in it.

Buying from us

What you get for the money

Three things that are true of everything in the shop, and are the reason a tote costs what it costs.

Measured, not guessed

Every piece carries its own measurements. Send us a garment that already fits you and the workshop matches it, in four to six weeks.

Cut one floor up

Eleven people work above the shop. Bags, belts and the small leather goods are made there, from hides tanned in Kumasi.

Kept in repair

Two years of mending at no cost on anything made in the workshop, and at cost after that. Bring it in, or post it to Osu.

Delivery

Accra and Tema by tomorrow

Two to four working days everywhere else in Ghana, five to eight across West Africa and seven to twelve beyond it. Free in Accra and Tema over GHS 800.

Returns

Twenty-one days to change your mind

Unworn, in the box it came in, and we pay nothing towards the post. Made-to-measure and monogrammed pieces stay yours.

Repairs

Two years of mending, at no cost

On anything made in the workshop. After the second year we charge what the materials and the hours cost, and tell you the figure first.
